Filipino horror movie titles are usually just a single word.

Pagpag. Sukob. Dalaw. Sigaw. etc. etc.

I swear I love that about horror movies here: you can make ANY word sound scary by putting it on an elaborately designed poster. Let test that shall we?

Suklay. Kape. Bintana. Solmux. Chicharon. Mani. Erpats. Beki.

Ayun! I just came up with Regal Films and Star Cinemas next line-up of films!

Similarly, Filipino romance movie titles are either song lyrics or song titles.

A Very Special Love, No Other Woman, Love Me Again, etc.

Seriously just get an old Bituin Escalate song and look at the lyrics and you've got yourself an entire FRANCHISE of Filipino romance movies!

"Kung Ako Nalang Sana Iyong Minahal."
"Kung Ako Nalang Sana Iyong Minahal 2: Di Ka Na Muling Mag-iisa."
"Kung Ako Nalang Sana Iyong Minahal 3: Di Ka Na Muling Luluha Pa."

GET TO WORK REGAL FILMS!!!

Don't let go of your humanity.

I don't view the "Seven Deadly Sins" as sins. I view them as natural elements of being human. Lust, greed, gluttony, wrath, sloth, envy, pride: are these not all observable characteristics of humanity albeit frowned upon? I do not condone them but neither do I condemn them if they are felt. We should not totally or utterly repress them, but merely temper them. Never give in to these things too often or too much but just deal with them as they come.

It's strange, we try to let go of these factors or ignore or forget about them as best we can. Because we fear hurting others or fear social backlash. But these are part of what makes us, us. It's our imperfections that make us human. And I wanna take in both the good and bad of humanity. We aren't gods.
