There comes a point in every movement, creed, race, religion, gender identity, or party where elitism reeks its ugly head. Elitism at its scariest is in the ironic twist when one's marginalization becomes the basis of self-righteousness, when the label of outcast becomes the basis of self-entitlement, and when even the mere choice of action becomes the basis of self-admiration.
